Cantons
Cantons are cutural and regional divisons as defined by the consitution. Cantons are divided by the Republican Government.
ST GEORGE- This canton composes two regions in northern Automatica and is based upon medival chivalry and the crusades.
CAPADIA- Capadia comprises eastern Automatica and is Francophone, and is the birthplace of the Amokolian Language (Lingüe Amokolië)
FARDIA- The oldest of all cantons, Fardia is a grab bag of people and essentially is a tiny version of Amokolia located in South-Western Automatica
WEST FARDIA ISLAND-Essentially Fardian culture, located on an island south of Automatica, home to Amokolias first national park.
TERRA-Terra was founded by Capadian settlers and is reminiscent of Capadia, with slight Svenish and Olean ties.
SVENSLAND-This canton is Swedish in nature, Petersburg is the largest city, and mountains are all around.
NEUENSDORF- Amish culture is all there is. No electricity allowed, that is, except for Rail-Cars.
NÖRGE SÜOMI- Its like Scandinava, minus Sweden.
HOLLANDIA-Hollandia is a largely agricultural canton, home to millions of tulips, harvested each May.
ALAND-Aland is essentially an exclave of Svensland.
CHEROKEE-This canton exclave is sandwiched between Ashkenatza and Shireroth, and is that way due to land lost during the Revolutionary War for Independence.
TEL-OLE-Home to thousands of refuge Jews that moved there after the Ashkenatzi fascists won power in their homeland.
MAXIMUM EFFORT-Does not live up to its name...yet.
EAST MISHALAN: Formerly a province, East Mishalan is one known for its chivalric traits and is Gralan in nature.
NORD-TELLIA: Nord-Tellia is home to millions of ethnic Tellians who have lived there for years. Bellisimo!
AUJORD SUISSE-Aujord Suisse was the only part of Amokolia to totally isolate itself during the war, a semi-autonimous region, Aujord Suisse is home to Veña, where free-thinking and Bohemianism are well-respected cultures.
