History of Amokolia
In The Beginning... Amokolia Started out offline, as a micronation in a school, with a bunch of 5th graders, although it may seem weird, it is true.
The nation we know as Amokolia started out as a secessionist movement from another micronation. The nation was first known as The Kingdom of the Matts, which to fifth graders was not good enough, so the Founders Jacob and Jess changed the name to Fartland to gain more citizens. There were about 20 citizens at that time and Jacob was the Emporer, but, he was stealing from the citizens, so Jess and another citizen named Austin overthrew him, and Fartland split into two realms, The Kingdom of Fartland and The Land of Larry.
Most of the Citizens from Fartland stayed when Austin was crowned king of the Kingdom. Things remained civil until a traitor named Andrew came up and said some lies about the then president Jess. He broke away and formed his own kingdom called the Kingdom of Royalties.
Fartland was re-named Fartia when the kingdom split apart. Fartia began a war with the KoR, which the Fartians eventually won. Fartia absorbed the KoR and all it's citizens.
About one month after the KoR was absorbed, King Austin didn't want any democracy in the land, so he broke off and founded Schwartz, which took all but 3 of the Fartian Citizens, so, because Schwartz was a break-away movement, Fartia declared war on them. The war ended up with the Fartians and Schwartians merging to form the Nation we now know as
The Amokolian Republic
From May 2006 to Now...
Once the 2005-2006 school year was over, Amokolia had no where to go, but after Amokolia set up a website, it realized that there were other groups of its kind. Then, Jean Beaumont came along and helped Amokolia set up its forum and recruit new citizens.
In September 2006, the first Amokolian constituion was established and the Saenate was officially opened for the first time. Also, the first presidential elections were held, with Jean Beaumont winning 57 percent, and Wyatt Martin winning 43 percent.
All was well in Amokolia until, January 2007, when the website and forum were crashed by Michael Walsh and John Haregreves. The two traitors were put on trial and were banished from Amokolia, but in May of 2007, Michael Walsh returned after he plead guilty and his sentence was commuted.
After the fiasco with the website and forum crash, King Jess X of Amokolia turned the thrown over to Peter Kelly, who was crowned King Peter XI. King Peter is officially King, but with Regent Jess taking his powers while he is gone.
In January 2008, a new forum and website were put up to attract more citizens to the nation, which helped, because the day the forum was put up, Amokolia got 3 new citizens. Amokolia then joined Gralus, an intermicronational union. The union lasted until all nations pulled out and Amokolia was left as the sole member. Amokolia struggled on her own until May 2009, when she joined Ocia.
Ocia treated Amokolia and her citizens very poorly, not helped by Ocia's bad reputation and various threats to other micronations, Amokolia found it wise to withdraw from the Ocian Federation, which resulted in a war. Amokolia won, easily.
The people of Amokolia then formed the Amokolian Republic, build on the consititution of the Amokolian Federation that existed between October 2008 and May 2009.
